I’m Angel R ( AR), a hip hop artist born in Puerto Rico and raised in the heart of New York. I still remember the nights—3 a.m., sitting in my room in the Bronx, pen in hand, staring out the window at night I’d look up at the sky, whisper a prayer, and ask God to turn my dream into something real.Music started as poetry for me—scribbled feelings, rhymes that spilled out when I couldn’t keep them in. I didn’t even know I was rapping until I felt the rhythm take over. NF, Eminem, J. Cole, Juice WRLD—they showed me that honesty could cut deeper than any beat, and a close friend showed me that chasing it was worth the fight.As a Christian, I’m not perfect. My songs are my battles on paper, my prayers turned into verses, my way of saying, “You’re not alone in this.” Every track is a piece of my struggle, my faith, my journey.It’s been four years since I started, but the fire in me feels like day one. This is just the opening chapter.”
